eSPABILA

Espabila is my own personal project. It is a small business that came to live during the pandemic as a zero-waste accesories brand. Since then, I have been growing the business and making a significant brand of my won.

To create a product, I realized that you need to understand the process. For this, I took several online courses, and I continue to take them, on sewing, knitting, fabrics, design, tailoring, composition of elements, and the course that changed my perception of fashion the most was sustainable fashion. There, I understood the entire process required for each garment we wear daily. It made me more aware of the balance that should exist between fashion, resources, and labor.

I started my venture during the pandemic when I realized I had plenty of time and creativity to spare. I believe my greatest success was reaching a market beyond my social circle. People began to recognize me for "my bucket hats," my colors, designs, and especially for the unique name I have, Espabila. With Espabila, my focus is to revive, awaken in a challenging time, greet the day with a smile, and enjoy each day.

Since then, I have participated in different events showcasing my designs. But, most importantly this was the impulse I had to study my passion and I keep on learning every day, to one day implement in my brand.
